Eight more Glenn Beck advertisers, including Wal-Mart – the world’s largest retailer – have confirmed to ColorOfChange.org that they pulled their ads from the controversial Fox News Channel broadcaster’s eponymous show.Limbaugh and Hannity have been as over the top as Beck, albeit in slightly different ways. And yet, our local radio stations continue to air these programs, and local businesses continue to advertise during them. We have to ask why. In a region that holds tight to the family values mantra--why is this programming aired, and why do advertisers continue to support it?
...
Twenty companies have pulled their ads from Beck’s show in just the last two weeks. The moves come after the Fox News host called President Obama a “racist” who “has a deep-seated hatred for white people” during an appearance on Fox & Friends. Previous companies who pulled their ads include ConAgra, GEICO, Lawyers.com, Men’s Wearhouse, Procter & Gamble, Progressive Insurance, RadioShack, Roche, SC Johnson, Sanofi-Aventis, Sargento, and State Farm Insurance.

A beginning, perhaps?

there's a difference between Home Depot national running a spot on Limbaugh, and Home Depot running a spot on a local station, which happens to put the spot on during Limbaugh. As for the so-called Beck boycott, none of the advertisers are actually pulling ads, just requesting they air on FNC outside that one show.
This effort should be directed at local advertisers as well. Stop in and let the local advertisers know that their spots are airing on Limbaugh and Hannity's shows--and provide a few examples to each business owner of Limbaugh's and Hannity's excesses. See if that works.
thank goodness for limbaugh. if not for him, no one would know that mother sheehan continues the good fight!

Now that she's headed to Martha's Vineyard, the State-Controlled Media, Charlie Gibson, State-Controlled Anchor, ABC: "Enough already." Cindy, leave it alone, get out, we're not interested, we're not going to cover you going to Martha's Vineyard because our guy is president now and you're just a hassle. You're just a problem. To these people, they never had any true, genuine emotional interest in her. She was just a pawn. She was just a woman to be used and then thrown overboard once they're through with her and they're through with her. They don't want any part of Cindy Sheehan protesting against any war when Obama happens to be president.
