The Rush/WXIT Tampon Problem

Is WXIT proud to carry this kind of programing? Here he calls a female caller to his show a "bigot" with "tampons in her ears". That's some quality family programming there, WXIT.

unfortunately this is a sign of the times and an epic failure. Obama failed, the Democratic Party failed and more importantly America and its educational system has failed. We produce more idiots per capita than anyone and we let them all vote.

no one wants to hear it.

Since last summer, Air America has been heard in the Washington area on WZAA (1050 AM). Its audience has been so small that Arbitron, which compiles radio ratings, was unable to detect any listeners for WZAA during several weeks in December.

Here is the Air America legacy:

1) Senator Al Franken

2) The Rachel Maddow Show

Enjoy!!

From Bill Press:

"Most of today's nationally-syndicated, progressive talk show hosts - Ed Schultz, Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, Mike Malloy, Randi Rhodes, and yours truly - have never been, or are no longer, Air America hosts. Our programs will carry on, without interruption or change. And, in every market where we are heard on the air, we will continue to match or beat our conservative competition in both ratings and revenue.

So, no matter what conservative talk show hosts may claim, fear not. The demise of Air America does not mean there is anything wrong with progressive talk radio today.

Air America, the company, may be dead. But progressive radio, the new force in talk radio, lives on - louder and stronger than ever."
